It's a pakora, right?[edit]

Currently a redirect to pakora per suggestion, but search for Pakodi also results in panipuri; it's given as an alternate name there, too. Not sure how that can be. -- B.S. Lawrence (talk) 16:54, 27 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Pakora is known by several names across India namely, pakodi, bhajji, phulki, phulauri, etc. Same words may be used in different regions for slightly different thing. Panipuri in Awadh region is known as Paani ka batasa and Gol-gap'pe in Western India and Gup-chup in Bihari languages.--Sayed Mohammad Faiz Haidertcs 04:57, 28 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]
