disputed claims

[edit]

removed to talk page the following paragraph

"Iorio's niece [1]Jessica Sierra, was often publicly linked with the Mayor when she was a contestant on American Idol, and doing quite well. Since Jessica has started to experience some minor law enforcement trouble there have been public denials of the relationship[2] from the Mayor's office."

However, if you look at the original St. Petersburg times article, it is NOT Pam Iorio who made the original claim to be the mayor of the neice.

Verbatim copy of the quote below from the St Petersburg times article.

"The show's publicists have described Sierra as a "niece" of Tampa Mayor Pam Iorio, but apparently the relationship is somewhat more complicated than that. Her stepmother is the daughter of Iorio's sister-in-law."

It is obviously the publicists who have claimed the connection. Therefore, this does NOT belong in the article itself.Bayspatriot (talk) 03:12, 11 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

This article is absolute crap.

[edit]

There used to be a good bit of information, here, and a picture.

Who has decided that this article was worth censoring?

There isn't even a link to the TampaGov website...

... I don't have time to fix this... but this article is really crappy. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 72.91.109.46 (talk) 21:25, 19 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Someone just updated this with an offensive URL in the references.

Controversy/Additional Information

[edit]

The Additional Information section currently on the page, is a remnant of an unsourced (possibly made-up) controversy section. I propose we remove the section alltogether. Information is not notable. |Godofbiscuits| 13:04, 30 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]
