Engineering the ecosystem
[edit]" It is considered to be an ecosystem engineer and plays an important part in its biodiverse community." I sense interesting information lurking behind these linked statements, which is not presented in the text, however. I surmise that the "ecosystem engineering" in this instance is a by-product of filter feeding. What is its specific role in the biodiverse community, and how is that important? Can the curious reader be trusted with a little further information from the cited source?--Wetman (talk) 23:15, 4 January 2015 (UTC)
- This statement originally came from the equivalent Spanish language article but I referenced it incorrectly. I have now explained the concept a bit more and added the correct source. Cwmhiraeth (talk) 07:39, 5 January 2015 (UTC)
