Dropping out of college

[edit]

I don't think Venture dropped out of college immediately following his father's death. In "Ice Station -- Impossible!", White, Quizboy and Venture discuss having Impossible as a professor in college; Venture admits that he "squeaked by" with a sympathy D after his father died. If he dropped out completely, he would have never gotten a grade at all... so I'm guessing that he simply gave up sometime later before graduating. That seems most likely. -th1rt3en 14:40, 30 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]
This also gives the writers a window to explain Underbheit's "lab accident". - DynSkeet * Talk 15:13, 30 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

The Count of Monte Cristo References

[edit]

Shouldn't the The Count of Monte Cristo be add to the cultural references section. The plot of the episode loosely mirrors the plot of The Novel. I mean it isn't a dead on remake, but any one who has read The Count had to have seen the similarities, I know this is recomended reading in most Junior/High School English Class so I am sure the writers of Venture Bros have read the book. -- Fiendishfoe 05:07, 3 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Dungeons & Dragons

[edit]

It is probably worth noting that when Venture and co are playing D&D they appear to be rolling a 1D12 rather than the more recognisable 1D20. --M.J.Stanham 05:15, 21 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Kim Possible Episode?

[edit]

This seems awfully similar to some of the Bebe-related episodes of Kim Possible. That is, spurned collegian buddy creates robots and tries to get revenge on roommates/friends later in life. I'm curious which one came first--the KP episode(s?) or this one. Also, is there something else that the two storylines may be referencing? 70.249.245.5 (talk) 15:50, 6 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]
