[edit]The creator and primary contributor to this article is User:Vmanoussos, who is presumably related to the founders and owners of V. Manoussos and Sons, the primary topic of this article. In the 9 years since this article was created, no one has contributed a single WP:Reliable source. Though it seems likely that much of the information in this article is correct, given the problem with conflict of interest, I think we have to remove anything subjective. I will proceed to do so. That leaves the question of notability. Was V. Manoussos & Sons in fact a notable producer of Loukoumi in Greece? I have no idea. It would be good to have some evidence. --Macrakis (talk) 22:50, 2 August 2015 (UTC)
- Hi. I see the conflict of interest, and I agree. The information provided is from family and local knowledge. The company was at its time the largest producer of loukoumia, until it was closed in 2000. The information may not be easily verified by online sources, however it can by by contacting the Chamber of Commerce and industry of the city of Patras, Achaia, Greece. The dates, names and history are correct. Since the company is defunct since 2000 and I am living in the UK permanently, there is no business interest, apart from preserving part of the the traditions and local history of the city of Patras. You may still contact Spyros Skiadaresis, one of the company owners still in business who can confirm it.
