It is July 2024 now, and he was made "interim Deputy Chief of the Air Staff" in September 2023. 10 months later and he is still in post. The original DCAS bio stated: Air Marshal Paul Lloyd was appointed as the interim Deputy Chief of the Air Staff (DCAS) in September 2023. ([1]). Now, there is no mention of "interim" ([2]). According to the London Gazette ([3]), he hasn't been promoted to substantive air marshal however. Its a bit of a pickle, but I'm assuming he is now not the "interim" DCAS?
