Fixing this page[edit]

Hi folks this page really does need some attention, even if it just entering the references correctly, but certainly with more citations and relevant information. I am unsure if I have a COI, but I did have some acquaintance with Olds almost 50 years ago. I do not regard this as close contact, but other friends of mine are in contact with him. So I will declare it. If editors are not happy with me making a few improvements, just come in here and let me know. I will have no problem with that. The other thing I could do is make a few suggested changes here and others can decide if they go into the article? My only interest is in improving the article. I have no vested interest in the article. Feel free to get back to me. This is a genuine attempt to get this page up to standard.Realitylink (talk) 09:35, 30 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

I have probably done enough for a while! At least the page has more substance and is no longer a 'stub'. Obviously, I have only put in a few pieces of work - those that I could find some secondary source to reference - but feel free to set up a list of all his work in another section. I feel more external links could be added as well, and of course, NZ literary people critiquing or discussing the impact he has made would be good. Extra detail could be unpacked about his time at Jerusalem and possibly how Baxter specifically influenced him.Realitylink (talk) 03:49, 1 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]
