[edit]Can't believe that this page was deleted before (wasn't sure how to recover it, maybe someone can do that & if it was a half decent page add it to what I've written). Minton's easily one of the most significant vocalists of the past 4 decades, & enormously influential (for good or ill--on the whole I'm not a big fan of improvising vocalists........). --ND 22:10, 31 August 2007 (UTC)
