Famous person from Plainview. In hight school, he played one season with Lawrence McClutcheon who graduated a year before him. He is considered by some to be one of the best offensive lineman in Texas High School football history. He went on to play for the University of Texas and was a first round draft and third overall to the NFL by the Philadelphia Eagels. This was despite having played for some lackluster Texas Longhorn teams. He evenually played in the Super Bowl in 1980. He was inducted into the college football hall of fame.

Vandalism
