Find correct name The airport is not listed as João Paulo II anywhere. The airport's own website calls itself simply Ponta Delgada, and has no mention of João Paulo.

Category:History of Portugal: lots to remove there
Template:Regions of Portugal: statistical (NUTS3) subregions and intercommunal entities are confused; they are not the same in all regions, and should be sublisted separately in each region: intermunicipal entities are sometimes larger and split by subregions (e.g. the Metropolitan Area of Lisbon has two subregions), some intercommunal entities are containing only parts of subregions. All subregions should be listed explicitly and not assume they are only intermunicipal entities (which accessorily are not statistic subdivisions but real administrative entities, so they should be listed below, probably using a smaller font: we can safely eliminate the subgrouping by type of intermunicipal entity from this box).

A very, very poor article about the city. Clearly, the mention to current Mayor, and his political party, reveals that this article was only written to serve an opportunistic purpose.

Yes, currently the article is very poor, but so is the Portuguese version. As for the mayor and his party, they're mentioned because it's relevant information about the local government of the municipality. AFAIK, they're mention in all other articles about Portuguese municipalities, regardless of the party. Cattus 18:21, 4 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Parish Mania[edit]

Why does the article consist of a few short lines and a list of the parishes, which are not relevant to anyone other than an inhabitant of Pombal, who anyway probably already knows their names. Vogensen 21:29, 1 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]
