Definition and Circular Logic[edit]

"A pork chop is a chop of pork?" Does that add anything to one's understanding? Jbracken77 (talk) 16:42, 11 April 2009 (UTC)

Good. (talk) 11:45, 8 March 2012 (UTC)

The content at Pork Chops seems rather trivial to me, as well as America-centric. If appropriate at all, I think the content belongs in an article about the American midwest. At it's core, this article's content (Pork Chops) is not so much about pork as it is about a regional attitude toward it. The content, therefore, is more aptly placed with content about the region.

I also think that Pork Chops should eventually redirect to Pork Chop.Tobycat 03:53, 22 July 2005 (UTC)

I would have redirected it here without a second thought. -- Cyrius| 19:54, 24 July 2005 (UTC)

Pork chops are used througout the world in a number of fine eateries, it deserves its own wiki. —Preceding unsigned comment added by (talk) 04:37, 27 June 2008 (UTC)

porkchops deserve their own page, probably not their own wiki though. i have no idea why you think this would make sense in a page about the american midwest; porkchops would be kind of a tangent. anyway i just posted to say that TOW really sucks, and you guys need to clean up this page. it's got some peoples' nicknames on it and the article reads like they probably wrote it, too. there is a thread on one of the /b/'s talking about how ridiculous the first sentence is. —Preceding unsigned comment added by (talk) 04:08, 17 October 2008 (UTC)

Huh? What is "TOW"? What nicknames are you talking about? The vandalism that has already been removed? --macrakis (talk) 17:15, 18 October 2008 (UTC)

Under 'Preparation'[edit]

In an effort to reinvent pork as "the other white meat", the pork industry began breeding leaner cows.

I've changed cows to pigs since I would think that was what was meant. (talk) 18:36, 8 December 2008 (UTC)

Porkchops as Items in Castlevania[edit]

Apparently Pork chops are an the main health item that appears in the classic series,I saw this on the manual of the game in an episode of The Angry Video Game Nerd, you can confirm this watching the review in Gametrailers.Com,it could be a reference for Cultural References Bloodawn5 15:09,30 November 2009

Uh. No. Might as well include pork chop sideburns too (which is 100 times more known than some obscure video game). — Preceding unsigned comment added by (talk) 02:03, 19 March 2012 (UTC)
