Disambiguate

Eloquence, I assume that poster was chosen entirely because it is particularly illustrative of the concept of "poster", and had nothing to do with the specific nature of the content? :) --Robert Merkel 03:29 11 Jul 2003 (UTC)

Exhibition Disambiguation

There was a link to the disambiguation page, which I have changed to "art exhibition". This may be wrong as I have no idea what a colonial exhibition is to be honest. Hi Phoebe, I'm a librarian at Colorado State University Libraries. I see you have added a link to our digitized International Poster Collection. We're researching the use/value of links in Wikipedia to our digital collections and would like to know how you came to know about our collection. There has been much talk by Wikipedia editors about libraries and museums adding external links to collections such as this. The list as of May 2010 does not reflect a global view of the subject. I hope to expand it. Contributions and suggestions are most welcome as would be some guidance or defintion of 'notable' in this context. Plutonium27 (talk) 12:35, 6 May 2010 (UTC)

I came here looking for information on popular standards for poster sizing. Are there typical dimensions for posters for various industries, like the United States movie industry? There appears to be an ambiguity or contradiction between this statement: "Poster presentations are often not peer-reviewed" - from this page (see Educational Session) and the comment on the linked page Poster session which says - "The work is usually peer reviewed."

What about fabric wall posters?

The type that is not folded paper, but made of fabric rolled by two pipes top and bottom? Often Anime posters. Joeleoj123 (talk) 13:27, 8 September 2016 (UTC)
