[edit]Although I am not technically a village resident of Powder Valley, I live so little a distance west of it on Woodlawn Drive and I recognise the historical significance of a home that had a 'gentleman's club' for a time with coach transportation provided from the Reading Company's Perkiomen Branch Zionsville station. It has usually been known as the Indian Creek Cottage. Let the dialogue continue here!--- Heff01 (talk) 13:51, 7 August 2011 (UTC)
Start walking from the village centre east on Sell Road and youll encounter a steep upgrade and a sudden turn that surpasses 270 degrees. Please avoid this in wintry road conditions. It is on this hill most of the way up where this former place of business, which has been a residence as long as Ive been living in UMT, has its claim to fame. I have since had to move to the Mountainville section of Allentown. Powder Valley actually has an area code boundary pass through its gorge to the south (between the Emmaus and Pennsburg telephone exchanges.) Most of Powder Valley is 610 while the part below the line is 215. Heff01 (talk) 18:59, 8 June 2018 (UTC)
The building of the Indian Creek Cottage afterwards hosted a post office until closed. Heff01 (talk) 04:28, 13 July 2018 (UTC)
