irritating animated gif

[edit]

The article contains an animated picture which I for one find extremely irritating and distracting. However, the picture is relevant because it shows a house being built. Perhaps it could animate once and then become static. Or perhaps have a static image on the article page, with a link to the animated version. -- Cabalamat 17:46, 30 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Prefabs and the modernist movement - seems a little NPOV

[edit]

Just been reading through - the section Prefabs and the modernist movement appears to lie somewhere in adverty/NPOV/non-encyclopaedic territory...

"Prefab housing should no longer be compared to a mobile home in terms of appearance, but to that of a complex modernist design." is particularly awkward to me - appears very NPOV, and the citation of a likely-biased page of general information about transportable homes doesn't really help...

"There is a new zeitgeist in architectural circles and the spirit of the age favors..." - also a bit weasel-wordy?

Anyway - adding a POV-check-section tag, in hope that someone more experienced can drop by...

If this is about prefab buildings....

[edit]

...howcome it's all houses, and all relatively modern? William took prefabricated structures with him from Normandy. Anmccaff (talk) 07:29, 13 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]
