The author of the subject of this article, Prince (software), has edited Wikipedia as Michael Day (talk · contribs).

This pseudo-template is emulating a normal page template used for talk page information, but its insertion gives the false impression that there are single editors ("author" is not valid in Wikipedia terminology) extra responsible for the page or owners of the page. Articles are not owned on Wikipedia per policy WP:OWN. That policy explains:

No one "owns" an article or any page at Wikipedia. If you create or edit an article, others can make changes, and you can not prevent them from doing so. In addition, you should not undo their efforts without good reason. Disagreements should be calmly resolved, starting with a discussion on the article talk page.

Notability

Notwithstanding the conflict-of-interest template, I think it would be a pity if this article were to be deleted. The fact that Prince passes the Acid2 test is of considerable interest to users of CSS, myself included (as a mere, and very humble, private user of XML, XHTML and CSS). I would like to think that Prince passes the notability requirement, given that it is a user-agent with support for web standards that is competitive with the "big four" (IE, Mozilla, Opera, Safari). For comparison, Wikipedia has articles about practically every other web browser and user-agent, including Lynx, iCab and NetPositive (!)

That said, would you be interested in having a quick look over the article to review/rewrite it as necessary for NPOV in order to remove any potential conflict of interest? Michael Day 01:34, 29 December 2006 (UTC)

I've read the article again and it seems simply factual and neutral to me, but I don't claim to be a good judge of such matters. Let's see what others have to say. Charivari 06:51, 29 December 2006 (UTC)

I agree with Michael and Charivari, article is neutral, information posted here is correct and references third party resources. Prince is considered to be serious e-publishing oriented application that has strong support for webstandards (especially CSS), so it is natural to have brief description/history of this formatter on wikipedia, so I see no reason why this article should be removed.

Since the article is considered to meet the criteria for notability, third party sources and npov, and has been removed from the articles-for-deletion page, would someone also like to remove the conflict of interest template? Are there any further changes to the article text that would be necessary before this could be done? Michael Day 01:51, 9 January 2007 (UTC)

move to product name

As Sublime HQ Pty Ltd and many other examples, where the product is most famous than the company, they use as article name the product name. Any objection to change this article from YesLogic to product name?
