The sentence, "By 1838, Elizabeth City – the predecessor to Princeton – had its first store, ferry across the nearby Wapsipinicon River, mill and distillery were in operation" doesn't seem like it could be true. It's also in need of grammatical help, which I'd be happy to fix. I live in Princeton, less than three blocks from the photo in the article, and we couldn't have a ferry across the Wapsipinicon river, as Princeton is not on the Wapsipinicon; it's on the Mississippi. In fact, the photographer would have been standing less than 50 feet from the Mississippi, with the river to the right and behind him/her. Spookiewon (talk) 19:03, 14 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]
