[edit]Could anyone explain why this person is not notable. Even his death is reported in a reputed newspaper which automatically establishes his notability. than
This person is more notable than most of the authors mentioned in the following list:

Kindly provide a definition of notability before deleting this article.
Does a person have to be a scholar of European languages to qualify for notability. None knows anything about these Italian writers outside Italy. Does that disqualify their notability?

What more is required to prove notability? Given below is the news report of his death appearing in a reputed English language daily of India. Even the news item call him "noted" explicitly

OK, Notable but cleanup please
[edit]I stand corrected. However this biographical article needs to have non-English language removed, add biographical information (birth date, place), etc. laurap414 (talk) 01:41, 2 February 2010 (UTC)
- Which wiki guideline state thats that the works in languages other than English cannot be mentioned in the article? Are you expecting to translate even their names? Thanks.--History Sleuth (talk) 01:49, 2 February 2010 (UTC)
