@Đại Việt quốc: thanks, yes I am and just getting underway. ::on sourcing, to verify the hook, the sources you've listed needs a page number. The article also appears to use different sourcing for this fact.
I'm also not so sure if the hook is that interesting - looking at the article, it mentions that the 15 year old actually died and hence why her statue is there. Perhaps suggest an alt hook to bring in this into it? Arcahaeoindris (talk) 16:41, 3 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Adding for the bot. Arcahaeoindris, for next time, when you approve a DYK nom you need to add {{subst:DYKtick}} (if you personally checked the source) or {{subst:DYKtickAGF}} (if the source is offline or in a language you don't speak) -- there's a bot that moves pages from unapproved to approved, and it looks for those specific symbols. @Đại Việt quốc and Arcahaeoindris: The sources for the hook appear to be non-independent of the bust. Could another source or hook be found? theleekycauldron (talk • she/her) 23:07, 15 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]

@Theleekycauldron: How about this source then? Thích, Nhật Từ; Nguyễn, Kha (2013). Pháp nạn Phật giáo 1963: Nguyên nhân, bản chất và tiến trình (in Vietnamese). Hồng Đức Publishing House. pp. 508–509. (page 509 has the information) Đại Việt quốc (talk) 23:40, 15 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
