Opinion[edit]

This article is mostly opinion, not fact. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 193.62.214.4 (talk) 15:17, 24 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

This article is mostly opinion but in retrospect, the art of quilling has been around for a very long time. There is not a clear way to define when it started or how it came to be. I have read many quilling books and at the beginning of each book on the history of quilling, this same article seems to show up in most of them. Tone[edit]

This page is written in first person view, which is not acceptable for wikipedia standards. Personal pronouns have even been used in the coils section. I suggest that it be rewritten in 3rd person —Preceding unsigned comment added by 144.137.68.27 (talk)

I've just done a bit of a rewrite - the first person view was in a large how-to section which I removed since Wikipedia is not a how-to guide. The articles desperately needs decent reliable sources. -- SiobhanHansa 17:16, 5 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Removed a large how-to section. Once again, Wikipedia is not a how-to guide. -- Etherjammer (talk) 19:34, 25 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Many parts of the page seem to be written to interest readers or promote the craft, and Wikipedia is not a means of promotion. --174.49.89.25 (talk) 01:44, 8 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Photo with copyright mark in the article[edit]

The photo at the top of the article bears a copyright mark, even though the uploader has licensed it CC-BY-SA 4.0 International on the Commons. It also has the signature and date of creation at the bottom. The uploader and the creator of the artwork seem to the same person (KDM Silva). This person has not responded to a notice on Wikimedia Commons posted since 2015 about copyright marks being discouraged on artworks. I suggest replacing the image with another image with no watermark or copyright mark. Thanks. -- Rohini (talk) 13:43, 28 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Pretty sure it’s not called paper tacos[edit]
