Lenasia & Lenz Military Base

The old routing of the R558 is that when coming from Krugersdorp, it would cross the N12 and reach the Eastern side of the Lenz Military Base. It would then cross the railway into Lenasia (I think as an underpass) before proceeding south to Lawley and Lenasia South.

But according to Google Maps/Earth, that "underpass" was closed sometime back, meaning the only way to enter Lenasia is to go east on the N12 and then take the next off-ramp just north of Lenasia town centre.

Is it alright to say that the R558 now follows this new routing, as it is the one showing in the Infobox image? This article currently states that the R558 is made up of two disconnected sections; should this be changed? GeographicAccountant (talk) 13:57, 21 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
