Did Richard Corben mean "satyrical" or "satirical". I was just wondering, since I think it would give the quote a slightly different meaning.

Satirical or satyrical?

[edit]

As far as the art is concerned, it is somewhat satyrical in style, but the story line is definitely satirical.

Atari ST game

[edit]

I distinctly remember playing a demo of a RanXerox game for the Atari ST and also seeing adverts for the full game in ST magazines, using the slogan "Your mother wouldn't like it!" I can't find any references to this on the web though. Has anyone got any more details? -- Neilka 15:09, 23 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Ah, the game was released as "Ranx". Carry on! -- Neilka 15:19, 23 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for Image:Ranxerox.jpg

[edit]

Image:Ranxerox.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 23:38, 5 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Atrocious

[edit]

The description as to the plot, setting, and even the main character is so sparse that nothing particular can actually be discerned whatsoever. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 192.197.142.100 (talk) 19:15, 17 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Possible sources in The One

[edit]

Added some possible sources from British gaming magazine The One that cover plot, characters in the comic, and the Ranx games. I have no interest in the subject, and thus am putting the sources here for someone else to use. Waxworker (talk) 05:59, 6 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]
