Red Fox James is a more honest person than he appears to be often in print.

Almost every fact about this person can be fairly debated.

His Catholic Church name was Francis St James.
Red Fox was a nick name that he received as a cowboy.
Skiuhushu seems to mean "Red Fox" in the Yakima Indian Language.
Dr. Barnabas Seems to be a theological name he used while a college professor. [1]

Red Fox James did dress Lakota. He looks like a Lakota Indian. My feeling is this is unlikely.
