Medal of Honor

[edit]

Please see William Othello Wilson. In theory, the museum should have Wilson's MoH in its holdings.--Georgia Army Vet Contribs Talk 02:27, 9 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Better coverage required

[edit]

I found some very nice content from this museum which I included in another article, Eleanor Butler. Wanting to link readers to the wiki page about the museum I was happy to discover that one existed, and I linked it here. But looking more closely at the article content, I was a bit disappointed. It really reads like an advertisement. Initially I tagged it for over-use of peakcock terms, but then looking at the article's history, it seems it was in fact written by someone who has only ever written this one article and is clearly affiliated with the museum given their user name. So I went ahead and removed some of the more egregious peakcock terms to give it a more encyclopedic tone. It still reads like a press release because, well, that's what it was written to be. Having said that, the museum is clearly notable and deserves proper encyclopedic coverage. So I've tagged it as cleanup-PR for now, hopefully someone who is motivated can do more with the stub we have. Eniagrom (talk) 08:23, 22 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]
