- Oppose and the other articles cited should drop their "the" also. See Wikipedia:Naming conventions (definite and indefinite articles at beginning of name) for the relevant rule: If the definite or indefinite article article would be capitalized in running text, then include it at the beginning of the page name. Otherwise, do not include it at the beginning of the page name. LuiKhuntek 08:56, 27 January 2006 (UTC)

- Interesting. The main article of Revolutions of 1848 appears to kick start it with the Sicilian revolution of independence of 1848. I'm about to start that article, but I come here thinking I might find some useful info - not a chance! A bit odd I would have thought, but when you have been writing on Sicilian related matters for so long, you just get used to this sort of thing. Never mind, I'll finish writing my article, and anyone who doesn't like reading about matters relating to Sicily, can simply come here! ρ¡ρρµ δ→θ∑ - (waarom? jus'b'coz!) 05:54, 26 March 2006 (UTC)
- Two years on, and there is still no mention of the Sicilian revolution in 1848. By the way, I agree that the tone of this article is completely inappropriate for for an encyclopaedic entry, and reads more like a Padanian political pamphlet. πιππίνυ δ - (dica) 03:26, 22 April 2008 (UTC)
- Tried to make some edits to amend that. The tone is coming from old-style historians, although most of the facts are historical truths. --Napoletanamente (talk) 02:28, 21 February 2011 (UTC)
