I'm writing because I'm trying to find an image of Richard Siddins/Siddons but the only ones are on anchersty.com.au and to get them we have to register and also pay a contribution to be able to get the photo. But for old photos there is anyway a copyright? Because if there isn't we could just try to make a screenshoot to it and posting it to the page.

I tried to ask on Anchestry to an australian woman that has posted some photos related to our topic if there are some images about Richard Siddins and she said that there aren't, there are just some images about his trip... This is what I get from she:" Hello Giulia, Unfortunately, there are no photos of Richard. The photos I have placed on ancestry are of newspaper articles, books and passages about him and photos of places that may relate to that incident I have written about. To date, no-one has placed any photos of Richard on ancestry or anywhere for that matter. Even a portrait would have been wonderful, but alas, I am not aware of any such thing. His trips are widely documented through the newspaper articles and the book "Richard Siddins of Port Jackson' and other publications, all of which you can find on Trove.
