The subject of this article's name is Miss Alice, it should be moved to "Miss Alice (Lawyer)" instead of Rob Moodie (Lawyer) to bring it in line with wikipedia's biographical standards. 122.58.220.67 (talk) 22:57, 23 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Miss Alice did not "win" against the NZDF[edit]

The article as written reads "Moodie acted for Keith and Margaret Berryman, whose farm was the scene of a bridge collapse that killed a visiting beekeeper in 1994. The Te Rata Bridge had been designed and built by the New Zealand Army, which disputed claims that the collapse was caused by poor design and construction. Moodie ultimately won the case in 2008 when the High Court quashed the coroner's report that held that the Berrymans were largely responsible for the collapse."

The High Court did not quash the coroner's report, a single paragraph was quashed. Miss Alice had several other causes of action which were all rejected by the High Court (see para [190]). The result, rather than being "won" by him, was lost nearly in its entirety. This is supported by the fact that Miss Alice took further proceedings against the NZDF which were stuck out, the judgement is here: http://www.nzlii.org/nz/cases/NZHC/2009/1944.pdf

In summary, the Berrymans (represented by Miss Alice) were unsuccessful in all but a relatively minor point relating to a single paragraph of the coroner's report.

I intend on editing the article to read "Moodie acted for Keith and Margaret Berryman, whose farm was the scene of a bridge collapse that killed a visiting beekeeper in 1994.
