Robby Stewart's Birth Year
[edit]Did they ever say his birth year? Unless they did, I think he was born in 1961 not 1962 because that's when Billy Ray Cyrus was born. Stephe1987 03:10, 16 April 2007 (UTC)
Spelling
[edit]So is it "Robby" or "Robbie"? The article and the title is inconsistent. bibliomaniac15 01:29, 15 May 2007 (UTC)
- On the Disney Channel website it says "Robby" so that's probably official. I think a lot of articles need to be changed, but they are probably going to be redirected soon anyway so it might not be worth it right now. Phydend 23:39, 19 June 2007 (UTC)
- In episode On the Road Again, they show a picture of an album cover with the name spelled "Robbie Ray". Since that is in the show itself it is more authoritative than what is on the Disney Channel website. Of course that could be the spelling he used as a singer - his stage name. The spelling he uses in regular life could be different. That could explain the discrepancy between the official Disney spelling and what was shown in the episode. I think we should leave things as they are unless there is some major push to change the spelling. --NrDg 02:32, 2 September 2007 (UTC)
- I checked with the official website and they refer to him as "Robby" not "Robby Ray". If we want to be consistent with the "Official" name as published by Disney then the name of this page and all references should be "Robby Stewart" with "Ray" being his middle name only. That means moving the page "Robby Ray Stewart" to "Robby Stewart" and changing all mentions of "Robby Ray" to "Robby" in all articles.
I plan on doing this in about a week if there are no objections.- I guess that sounds reasonable if Disney says it. Anyway, I'll help you as well. ZSoraz 02:58, 2 September 2007 (UTC)
- I suggest we keep Robby Ray Stewart as a redirect to this page or else there will be alot of broken links and misleads tho unless it keeps it that way (not experienced in moving pages). ZSoraz 03:02, 2 September 2007 (UTC)

- I'll move the page tomorrow to give others a chance to object here. I found most of the links to Robby Ray Stewart and changed them to Robby Stewart so there shouldn't be any broken links. The move process creates redirects anyway. --NrDg 04:17, 2 September 2007 (UTC)
I was watching the episode, On the Road Again, and on the cover of a Robbie Ray album, his name is spelled IE, not Y. I think it should be changed being that is how it is shown in the series. Kellylyn93 04:09, 2 September 2007 (UTC)
- Read the above stuff. His official name as per Disney's official site is "Robby Stewart". His old stage name, as shown on the album cover, is "Robbie Ray". We have changed all mentions of "Robby Ray" to just "Robby" and kept "Robbie Ray" as his professional and writer name. I think this is all consistent with what is shown on the episode you mentioned and on Disney's official web site.--NrDg 04:17, 2 September 2007 (UTC)
Sorry, I just changed a Robbie-Ray to a Robby-Ray before reading this, you can change it back. In the latest episode, The Way We Almost Weren't (aired in the UK, why I have watched it), at the end there is a photo of Miley's mother and father signed Robby-Ray and Susan.—Preceding unsigned comment added by 82.43.155.134 (talk • contribs) 21:43, 19 November 2007 (UTC)
- I changed it back. Also the picture was signed just Robby, NOT Robby Ray. --NrDg 21:57, 19 November 2007 (UTC)
When we have conflicting references lets discuss what to do. Another name reference is Disney Channel Medianet page on Billy Ray Cyrus] --NrDg 05:29, 10 August 2009 (UTC)

[edit]"He often talks about his Uncle Earl who does weird things. Ironically Chelsea Daniels from That's So Raven often talks about a Cousin Earl in the same fashion, leading to fan speculation that she may be related to the Stewarts"
Who coughed that up? WAVY 10 02:27, 17 May 2007 (UTC)
Well, I don't know. But Earl is actually Robby's brother, so that means Chelsea's mom/dad's sister/brother is really old because Earl is in his late 40's [speculated]. Chelsea's mom is actually really young when she is portrayed but still, Chelsea came first. Disney would have never though of Hannah then, or arranged things for her. [edit]I just came across this...
"Another reference to Doc is Robby Ray's line "Good night, Nurse Nichol" (from Achy Jakey Heart, Part 2). Nurse Nancy Nichol was a main character in the series, as well as the love interest of Dr. Clint Cassidy (played by Billy Ray), and, at the end of the series, Clint's wife."
I watched Doc quite regularly when it aired on the netlet that has gone through three names in the last two years, and I don't remember there being a wedding involving Clint and Nancy. (I may have missed something, but I think I taped it, and will get back to it) As it was, I think Doc's cancellation was rather abrupt, ending seemingly on a cliffhanger. Fair use rationale for Image:Father and Daughter.jpg
[edit]Image:Father and Daughter.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion.
