I ddin't know that Mr. Robert Hooks had been the original host of "Like It Is", preceeding Gil Noble. Amazing! I wonder why he didn't intercede in the impending canceling of the decades, long-running public affairs program, as he seems to be a very pro-active individual. His other filsm, such as "A Taste of Honey", and "Hurry Sundown" should be more prominately shown on cable. He seems to have yet another, rather rare talent, especially for Hollywood: A sense of dignified humility!Still youthful, and handsome devil, even at his age --50.74.98.212 (talk) 02:37, 8 June 2014 (UTC)Veryverser
