Working on improving the page
[edit]Hi, I'm going to work on improving this page. If anyone has anything they think should be added, please leave the details here on the talk page for me. Cheers! JohnnyBflat (talk) 06:50, 20 January 2020 (UTC)
- hi JohnnyBflat, you might like to add some words about Burioni and the coronavirus? Coolabahapple (talk) 02:21, 27 March 2020 (UTC)
- Good idea, Coolabahapple. Do you have any specific sources to add? I'm happy to add them or feel free to add them in your self. I'll do a search for new source material as well. Cheers! JohnnyBflat (talk) 04:25, 27 March 2020 (UTC)
- drat, i thought you might suggest this:), gsearching "Roberto Burioni coronavirus" brings up lots of articles with mentions/sound bites from Burioni, nevertheless, here are a couple that may convey him as an expert in this field: from Foreign Policy - "Italy’s Politicians Are Making the Coronavirus Crisis Worse: When the virologist and media personality Roberto Burioni suggested those draconian measures were actually necessary to contain the spread, he himself was accused of being a “fascist” and a League supporter.", and The New York Times - "Italy, Pandemic’s New Epicenter, Has Lessons for the World : Roberto Burioni, a prominent virologist at the San Raffaele University in Milan, said that people had felt safe to go about their usual routines and he attributed the spike in cases last week to “that behavior.”", there are probably better ones out there, but this is really outside my purview.
