The AllMusicGuide cites Roger Greenaway's birthyear as 1942, and his birthplace as Southmead.
I do not know who has posted the above or when. Anyhow, I believe that AllMusic are in error. The book Roger Greenaway, editor Noelia Penelope Greer, publisher Patho Publishing, 2011, ISBN9786137836682 states "23 August 1938, Fishponds, Bristol". Plenty of other online sources agree, although some are more reliable than others. Try this, or this. I have changed the reference in the article, replacing the Second Hand Songs unreliable source to the book mentioned first in this note.
