New Page on Adaptive Leadership[edit]
I am planning to write a new Arictle on adaptive leadership to which Heifetz is a major contributor. Even though the theories of Heifetz and others have been developed at Harvard Kennedy School for 30 years, have trained thousands of leaders and have been recognized in the field, they are barely visible on Wikipedia.
As part of setting up the page, I would also like to also make some edits to this biographical page, such as shifting parts of the content of his model to the new site (e.g. technical vs. adptive, authority vs. leadership) and extending the sources.
The main struture of the new article could look like this:
ADAPTIVE LEADERSHIP 1. Definition
2. Origins a) Group Relations b) Argyris & Schoen
3. Theory a) Technical vs. adaptive work b) Leadership vs. authority c) Types of adaptive challenges d) Interventions and Orchestrating Conflict
4. Practice and Examples 5. Teaching of Leadership 6. Studies and Criticism 7. See also 8. References
Please let me know if you have any questions or concerns. Marburgmichi (talk) 18:09, 22 November 2013 (UTC)
