Rothley in the news[edit]

What do people think about a 'Rothley in the news' section of this page? The family of the three-year-old girl abducted on holiday in Portugal last week is from Rothley. And in 2006 Mark Collett, a BNP member from Rothley, was on trial for race hate charges. Rothley is/was mentioned in news stories about both. Georgethe23rd 21:27, 6 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I added the section anyway, along with a few other amendments. Feel free to change it.Georgethe23rd 19:56, 7 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I wouldn't feel bad about it, just make sure that you keep it objective and don't add anything you might want to delete later. I know you were working on this before this story broke. There is little doubt that Rothley will get more attention now than in the last few years. I heard Radio 4 refer to it this morning and they had it rhyming with moth lee rather than mowthlee. Thomas Babington[edit]

I don't understand why this person's story is told here and then there is a micro-stub for him. If he is notable then he should have a page of his own. Does he belong on the "Babbington family" page? Victuallers 21:12, 14 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
