Replaced old article

[edit]

There wasn't much to the article to begin with, and that is still true after the replacement. Replaced article with more readable text. The article's only potential notability is that it is the earliest known act still in effect in Scotland. Removed the ratings templates, as the article doesn't seem to merit that attention. Reword with some additions, set ratings

[edit]

Set the ratings and importance; the article is probably of low importance for most, but added Wikiproject Medieval Scotland, and set importance to "Mid" because the act asserts inter regalia under Scots Law for gold, silver, and some lead mines; but change it to "Low" if that seems more appropriate. The "class" parameter doesn't really fit, but I stuck something in as a placeholder, if nothing else - it's a short article that covers a brief topic. Possibly related to the act, I read somewhere that several foreigners (? German) had been granted permission to search for and exploit gold or silver in Scotland at one point in time, but I can't remember where I saw it. Notuncurious (talk) 02:13, 5 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]
