Conflict of Interest and Neutral Point of View
[edit]This article has been edited several times over the last few months to remove any less than complimentary information (even though it was appropriately cited) and replaced with more positive information. As a result I have added a banner to highlight potential issues related to Wikipedia:Conflict of interest and Wikipedia:Neutral point of view. I am more than happy to work with anyone to produce a balanced and encyclopedic article however I did not appreciate a phone call and email at work attempting to stop me editing the article. I would welcome neutral editors comments and edits to ensure the article provides a balanced source for readers.— Rod talk 13:48, 12 October 2011 (UTC)
- I saw this article mentioned at the COI Noticeboard. This IP edit[1] removes sourced content, seems unjustified, and has been reverted. ScottyBerg (talk) 15:33, 12 October 2011 (UTC)
- It was a bit wrong of them to actually phone you, the IP editors will have no power in putting bias in the article. Replies can be seen at the COI Noticeboard. I was thinking if we should request a page protection? Jaguar (talk) 15:50, 12 October 2011 (UTC)
- I agree that page protection may be warranted. I'm very disturbed by the report of pressure being exerted on an editor as Rodw describes. If this isn't dealt with in our policies then it needs to be. ScottyBerg (talk) 17:00, 12 October 2011 (UTC)

Helicopters really land on the pitch??
[edit]I'm being bold and changing the claim that helicopters land on the nearby cricket pitch, because it seems terribly unlikely from what I know of cricket groundkeeping - presumably it lands elsewhere on the field (see Cricket field for more on the difference between the two). SamBC(talk) 15:30, 14 October 2011 (UTC)
- Yes, you are right. Thanks. Sorry I got that wrong - it is many years since I last played on a cricket field! Rwendland (talk) 17:35, 14 October 2011 (UTC)
Weston
[edit]The RUH is located in Newbridge (and says so in linking article), an electoral ward directly bordering Weston. The hospital is indeed very close to the historical centre of Weston but that is not the correct suburb. --Stars of 85 (talk) 19:42, 18 October 2014 (UTC)

Royal United Hospital should be Hospitals as it https://www.gov.uk/government/groups/royal-national-hospital-for-rheumatic-diseases-nhs-foundation-trust 77.101.36.43 (talk) 18:30, 19 October 2015 (UTC)
- Done. Thanks. Rwendland (talk) 22:04, 19 October 2015 (UTC)
Why is this article still protected, and why BLP protected? Surely it's time to unprotect the page to let all editors make improvements? 2A00:23C6:FA02:EC00:C915:B56:A60A:11E8 (talk) 08:10, 2 November 2019 (UTC)
- Not done: requests for decreases to the page protection level should be directed to the protecting admin or to Wikipedia:Requests for page protection if the protecting admin is not active or has declined the request. NiciVampireHeart 10:04, 2 November 2019 (UTC)
