"Thai"?[edit]

Regal Tip appears to call these sticks "Thai" sticks: http://www.regaltip.com/products/specialty/world-percussion/gripped-thai-stick

I'm not a drummer, so I don't know if there is any difference, but is it worth referencing the alternate name? TheHYPO (talk) 21:38, 21 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]

German Spelling[edit]

In case anyone wonders about the German spelling, I'd like to point out that there was a huge spelling reform in 1901 which transformed almost all the "th"s into "t"s. Before 1901 a switch was correctly spelled "Ruthe", afterward, as today, "Rute". Today the old spelling can still be found frequently in the names of places or persons, where it has usually been retained.
