acknowledgment of allegations should be allowed content[edit]

acknowledgment of allegations against ryan of theft and fraud should be allowed to be added to his page, as it is something decently major about him. sure, they are unconfirmed, but in the absence of confirmation they should at least be able to be addressed in such a way as saying “[xyz allegations] surfaced around [MM/YYYY]. since this has surfaced, [abc person] has been [whatever abc person’s known continued activity/presence is] ((which in this case is absent from and actively getting removed from anything idkhow related)). it is likely that [abc person] is/is no longer involved with/in [xxxx project], however their involvement officially remains unclear as of [CMM/CYYYY].”

i believe it is disingenuous to not include possible relevant information when you have it, even if it’s not flattering information. individuals are responsible for their own public image to that extent, and if in fact something like this about someone is said and it is not a truthful allegation they are responsible for coming out and saying that themselves if they want to clear up their image. in the wake of new information the article can and will be updated to reflect the most truthful story available, but it is still helpful to sometimes even include things you know are false and then say as much if they are commonly believed/thought things. the recent controversy is part of the information that is out there about ryan seaman even if it’s validity is debated (which can easily be said/noted in a way that makes it very clear that what is being talked about is addressing speculation regarding him). 69.14.221.80 (talk) 06:14, 14 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Allegations need to be reliably sourced. If charges are filed and a reliable source writes about it, then feel free to add both.--☾Loriendrew☽ (ring-ring) 12:45, 14 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Ryan was kicked out. Itisi5 (talk) 16:36, 6 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
As of now Ryan has remained silent and we should add the allegations as it is a major part of his career being affected by them. Itisi5 (talk) 15:54, 26 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
