Neutrality

[edit]

"Born in Angola, to a Zimbabwean migrant father and Angolan mother. Later moved to the DRC. Worked with Franco and Tabu Ley. He is one of the best Congolese vocalists' of all time." If this isn't non-neutral, I don't know what is. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 96.36.88.23 (talk) 02:34, 9 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Agreed. I deleted it. Next time, feel free to be bold. DBlomgren (talk) 02:49, 16 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Response to reverted edit on birthplace in info box

[edit]

No source needed, Leopoldville and Kinshasa are the same city, which changed its name between his birth and now. Assuming he actually was born there, both are right, neither is wrong, and it doesn't really matter which this says. But I think that as in the article body, the better answer is to use the name it the time he was born, Leopoldville, possibly with a "now Kinshasa" explanation. But in that case country should be Belgian Congo not DRC. Sullidav (talk) 19:50, 12 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]
