Removal of genuine ilocano brotherhood and auxilliary sorority section

I reverted the Samahang Ilokano article because the addition of the section on genuine ilocano brotherhood and auxilliary sorority doesn't seem to contribute to the article. I can only assume that it refers to the Genuine Ilocano Gang, in which case, a stub could be made for it, instead of piggybacking on this article. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Brownspank (talk • contribs) 14:00, 4 September 2007 (UTC)

Ilokano or Ilocano?

The name of this dialect shows up with a "c" or a "k", when translated to English. Which is it? Jax MN (talk) 13:47, 8 November 2021 (UTC)

I am finding both are correct. The language itself is correctly referred to as Ilocano or Iluko. However, the Ilocano spelling seems to be used most often with the organization's full name: Confederation of Ilocano Association, Incorporated. This being the case, we may want to change the name of the article if it services the deletion challenge. Rublamb (talk) 02:20, 4 July 2023 (UTC)

I just added it as a source for a chapter. At some point, we will need to refresh the entire text with info from these new sources. The bulk of the pre-existing text appears to have been copied straight from the the old website. Rublamb (talk) 02:22, 4 July 2023 (UTC)
