The article states that the tunnels run under the Addington Hills. This is a) not sourced although it is mentioned in the Subterranea Britannica reference which is cited later in the article but I feel this might not be all that reliable a source and may be WP:UGC; and b) The Addington Hills are at least a mile away (even as the crow flies) in an easterly direction. The link at Croydon Tramlink refers to the line approaching Addington Hills some time after leaving the tunnel and passing through Lloyd Park. The tunnels actually pass through the eastern end of the area of Croydon known as Park Hill at its border with Addiscombe. They pass close to, or under, the Lloyd Park allotments and then proceed beneath Park Hill Rise and Radcliffe Road (and other minor residential roads) before emerging in a cutting to the rear of houses in Sandilands itself. Clicking on the co-ords included in the article takes you to this page, where the map and the streetview show the correct location. The tramline can be seen as a faint blue line close to the Archbishop Tennison school annotation, where it enters the tunnel at the southern end, emerging to the north close to the Sandilands tramlink junction by the red marker. Dragging the map in an east-south easterly direction reveals Addington Hills some distance away which per the London A-Z is over a mile from the site of the tunnels. Hi Eagleash, I certainly bow to your esteemed knowledge of the area's geography and hope you are able to rectify and edit the article yourself with new found references. My involvement with the tunnel was very fleeting and I never actually visited the site. Should you not be able to edit this yourself, I will endeavour to correct this myself in due course. @James Kevin McMahon: Thanks for your reply; I do know the area quite well and pass through the tunnels usually at least once a week; don't know about 'esteemed' though! I have been searching for references but without much success so far, but will continue to do so. I have also constructed an infobox which I shall probabaly add to the article once the location has been sorted. Slightly surprised that there is not more information available.
