"Dear Boss" letter and "Saucy Jack" postcard : Dates?[edit]

I was wonderig if there was any mention of when the Dear Boss letter was revealed to the public in relation to when the Saucy Jack postcard was written? If the postcard had been written before the first leter was released to the public, then the postcard would not mention "time to get ears off for police..." unless the same person wrote both letters, right? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 168.11.168.2 (talk) 12:42, 24 October 2007 (UTC)
