Klein-Gordon is only renormalizable field[edit]
What is that supposed to mean? What about φ4? What about scalar QED? What about scalar Yang-Mills? What about sine-Gordon? All of those are renormalizable, none of them free. -lethe talk + 04:05, 7 July 2006 (UTC)
New page on scalar field theory and redirection of this page[edit]
I think the various current pages on scalar field theory are fairly patchy in what they cover. I have started a new page, Scalar field theory, which I hope will cover the various aspects of scalar field theory in a coherent fashion.
So far I have covered the most important topics in classical scalar field theory, though mainly through busy-ness I have not completed the exposition of the quantum theory. Help would be appreciated!
I believe the material from this page is now covered. What are people's thoughts on blanking this page and redirecting to Scalar field theory? All the best--Jpod2 10:11, 19 September 2006 (UTC)
