Need spelling change, please

[edit]

This location is spelled "Shaffer" (as per all the references cited). Page title and other incorrectly-spelled listings need to be updated. Thank you. Shaffer56 (talk) 03:35, 25 June 2018 (UTC)Shaffer56[reply]

GNIS reference says "Schaffer", but an old map says "Shaffer". I'll have to investigate further. • SbmeirowTalk04:10, 25 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks. If you look at the Kansas Historical Society record of Post Offices http://www.kshs.org/geog/geog_postoffices/search/county:RH you will see their listing of "Shaffer". They also have photographic evidence of the old railroad depot at "Shaffer" Kansas. Appreciate your investigation. Shaffer56 (talk) 07:16, 25 June 2018 (UTC)Shaffer56[reply]
