This tree´s dry fruits contain several seeds shapped like "poker chips", and that´s why it´s called "ficheira", wich means "chipper" in portuguese. Indeed, these seeds were always widely used by Brasilian countryside people to count the points in a card game.

Is this the same as Biriba aka Beriba aka "Aniba Parahyba"?
