Notability[edit]

SRAM's notability is easily established by simple searches:

Now it's just a matter of which sources to use. -- Fyslee / talk 03:30, 27 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Yeah, it's clearly notable. Mikker (...) 08:19, 27 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Does it still exist?[edit]

The last article published on its website has a publication date of October 2001... --Guillaume2303 (talk) 10:19, 17 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, Guillaume2303! To my knowledge, the journal never officially declared itself closed (at least, I can't find anything to cite,) but it is indefinitely suspended. The SRAM site now serves more as an archive of the journal. The Wikipedia article could use something about all this, but I'm having troubles finding something to cite.Dustinlull (talk) 13:10, 17 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]
That's what I thought. I'll make a few changes to reflect this. Too bad there are no sources! --Guillaume2303 (talk) 13:21, 17 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]
I did some snooping on the Wayback Machine, and I found a snapshot of the journal's site from 2011 that shows an issue from 2007 as the last published issue. http://web.archive.org/web/20110719133751/http://www.sram.org/1101/index.html Volume 11 in 2007 appears to be the final issue published. Why they only maintain an archive up to 2001, I have no idea.Dustinlull (talk) 19:32, 17 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]
