since nothing has been changed here for awhile, I'm going to give a go at updating it Cap020570 (talk) 21:18, 12 April 2013 (UTC)
Please be cautious about characterizing issues and people ("well known denier"). If there are neutral references pointing to such conclusions, provide them and let them speak for themselves. I've removed the link to "Christopher Monckton." English Wikipedia has two articles about people of that name, but neither one appears to be the person referred to. I changed the first paragraph of this section, mainly because the two self-citations do not demonstrate the truth of the preceding statements (in the first instance, that Professor Mandia is regarded as an expert on LI hurricanes; in the second, that he has done live interviews on the Weather Channel). Rather, they point to his writings on the subject of LI hurricanes, and the text should reflect that. Cecropia (talk) 20:04, 21 November 2010 (UTC)
