Comparison to Anakin Skywalker?[edit]

I find the little tidbit comparing Seifer to Anakin to be entirely irrelevant. The similarities are amazing, but unless they were intentionally made by the creators, the section is entirely non-encyclopedic. It's simply an opinion from a fan in its current form. Because of this, I'm deleting it. If someone objects to this, please discuss why it should be restored versus just restoring it. MidnightWolf 09:30, 29 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Fujin's Speech[edit]

The phrase explaining Fujin's speech in Japanese is a bit vague. I don't have the correct details to clarify it myself. Someone who does not know Japanese won't see what's so odd about speaking 'in kanji'. Adding a few words like "only in kanji, which is like speaking in only in root word forms" or something might make more sense without going into an off-topic tangent or anything.

Hat Kanji?[edit]

Anyone think they could find a translation for the, what I believe is, Kanji on his hat from KH2? I for one came here looking for that answer and have yet to find anything on any other sites, either. A for Fujin's speech, perhaps adding what you had and adding that it is "simular to short, curt speech" may help a bit, though that might go onto be a bit bias.

俺 means "I -in a selfish kind of way"

俺 - Ore - A boastful first person pronoun, mostly used when you want to sound big, since most other pronouns seem rather "girlish" when you try to look tough Zerocannon 09:10, 25 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Shouldn't be listed as a Kingdom Hearts villain[edit]

In KHII, he's certainly a jerk, but he's not outright evil, so I don't think it's appropriate, especially when you look at the other characters in that category!

Changes[edit]

I disagree with the changes persistently made by the anon editor. Lines were deleted without explanation, links were changed to ambiguous versions without explanation or logical reason, images were shifted without explanation or reason, some excessive information, a trivia section (which we are trying to discourage), and links to fansites (which is also frowned upon). I do agree with a couple of the edits, though. — Deckiller 00:24, 29 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Picture[edit]

I'm sorry but I like Seifer's other picture than his official one, and so do a lot of other people and since no one owns Wikipedia and its open to the public, in my opinion since he's not used the official picture until recently when a small clique of people have forced their opinions, we should go with the majesty. So get rid of the official picture for all FF8 characters, they are so old we need new ones. -Eileen-

Bu the way links to fansites aren't bad. People are getting too controlling of Wikipedia articles. Let's leave it for the public to decide, shall we? Since not everyone likes the small clique's changes, they should knew that you can't have your own ways all the time. -Eileen-

Unfortunately, changing the pic layout of the page because you prefer one pic over another is equally controlling, because clearly concensus preferred the old layout (hence the reversions). Moreover, you have failed to address my points above, so I am reverting again. Also, it seems that your "can't have your way all the time" with persistant reversions is in violation of WP:POINT. — Deckiller 06:15, 3 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry Deckiller, I was kinda ticked off when I wrote that so I apologize for sounding rude. But what's wrong with doing it the old way but removing original research? You never said why fansite links are bad, when I first used Wikipedia, I appreciated it so now I'll answer your question if you do to. Anyway I was thinking how about cycling between pictures to settle the disagreement. (They did that to settle a disagreement about the Faye Wong article). Those changes talked about I assumed happened when the picture was reverted back to the old way. So here is what I think we should do for all articles, cycle the pictures between the old and current versions every two weeks or so. That way everyone can get what they want. What do you think? -Eileen-

PS. Did you ever get that message I sent to your talk page a week ago? -Eileen-
