Union of Writers

[edit]

I don't read Russian, but according to Google Translation, the link above says he's a member of the Union of Writers. Since this seems to be disputed, could someone who can read Russian confirm this and add the citation if appropriate?   Will Beback  talk  02:41, 12 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Link says he was (but not is) a member of the Union of Writers. --Borealis55 (talk) 08:56, 13 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Then that's what the article should say.   Will Beback  talk  09:22, 13 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]
The Russian article says his membership was restored in 1997.-Galassi (talk) 10:30, 13 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Let's just summarize the sources.   Will Beback  talk  10:43, 13 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Russian historian

[edit]
  • Mr. Reznik is a Russian emigre historian, novelist and biographer who came to the United States in 1982.
    • Beichman, Arnold (September 18, 1996). "A look at anti-Semitism in Russia". Washington Times. Washington, D.C. p. A.19.</ref>

Here's a citation for the subject being a Russian historian.   Will Beback  talk  02:49, 12 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Borealis is not intrested in RS. His point is that a Jew writing in Russian cannot be a Russian writer...--Galassi (talk) 11:04, 12 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Sources trump opinions. Without sources it's just one opinion versus another.   Will Beback  talk  19:03, 12 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]
