2009 US Open[edit]

serena was runner up in the US open final of 2009, losing to Kim Cljsters but this isn't recorded here.

that was a semifinal--Billymac00 (talk) 13:00, 1 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Career finals[edit]

Serena's April 2003 final loss to Henin in Charleston is listed here as Tier II, but was in fact Tier I.

So Tier I finals record should be 11-6 and Tier II 12-3. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2.107.73.50 (talk) 20:40, 14 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Win Percentage[edit]

A key indicator of "greatness" is combining career win% and Grand Slam Final win%. I'm a bit into the numbers, but I believe Serena is well above anyone else (as of this writing, with doubles results weighted 50%, she is at 0.853+0.841=1.69). The 2 nearest to her are Margaret Court and Graf at 1.62 and 1.57 respectively. The highest male comes in at 1.53.--Billymac00 (talk) 13:00, 1 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]
