This page needs a list of models of Nokia phones that run S40. —Preceding unsigned comment added by (talk) 14:30, 14 February 2011 (UTC)

I have a series 40 nokia (6233) and I can send email with attachments from the filesystem.... - Zephyris Talk 00:36, 17 February 2007 (UTC)

I have a Nokia Series 40 (6300)... what are compatible software with it? And can i use SExplorer10.SIS to change files' extentions in it?

third party performance[edit]

It's true that S40 edition 1 and some edition 2 phones had bad java performance, but 3rd Edition phones have generally run java faster than equivilant S60 phones. For instance N73 has slower java performance than Nokia 6131. This is more an indication of how well Nokia implemented their latest S40 KVM, rather than saying anything bad about S60 phones. Now if you are comparing symbian c++ apps on S60 with java apps on S40 that's a different story. —Preceding unsigned comment added by (talk) 21:51, 4 February 2008 (UTC)

What means "nokia phones by series" (the last listing in this and every other nokia series xx-related page)? It is the same list in every wiki-page and it contains all nokia phones in no particular orders, so why dont you drop the words "by series" out? —Preceding unsigned comment added by (talk) 15:42, 20 May 2008 (UTC)

You've god a good point there.

First S40 phone[edit]

The article says the first one was in 2002 (the 7210) but the BBC says the first one was released in 1999 but doesn't say which one. (Nokia celebrates 1.5bn phones running on S40) — Preceding unsigned comment added by (talk) 10:44, 25 January 2012 (UTC)
