Length of time with WWE
The first paragraph says he is one of the longest tenured performers with the company, having joined in 1990, but the article itself says he first was hired in 1987, then fired, then rehired in 1988. I know for a fact Shawn was in WWF pre-1990, so can this please be changed to read 1988 or possibly 1987? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 75.41.6.23 (talk • contribs)
Trivia section
Should we work on that? ThinkBlue (Hit BLUE) 19:52, 24 May 2007 (UTC)
- Ok, question. Are Shawn and Bret really real-life enemies? Cause I thought Shawn wanted amends with Bret!!! ThinkBlue (Hit BLUE) 21:25, 27 May 2007 (UTC)
A lot of bridges were burned and fences broken between them. That I can tell a lot of the old hostility has diminished, but they will likely never be on the same page. A lot of negative to overcome. Smobro68 07:44, 29 May 2007 (UTC)
- Well, that explains a lot!!!! Thank you, Smobro68. ThinkBlue (Hit BLUE) 22:45, 29 May 2007 (UTC)
Fair use rationale for Image:SMBoyHoodDream.jpg
Image:SMBoyHoodDream.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 09:52, 6 June 2007 (UTC)

the reason he is out keeps changing
its knee ingury —Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.215.73.136 (talk • contribs)
- Yes; but some people think its a "concussion"!!! So its kayfabe. And the knee injury is real. ThinkBlue (Hit BLUE) 01:50, 20 June 2007 (UTC)
well the knee ingury should be mentioned also because the article is about Michael Shawn Hickenbottom, not the storyline Shawn Michaels. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 70.156.145.229 (talk • contribs)
- It should be added!!! But, some people will look at it and edit it and put the concussion!!!! I think that's why it was removed in the first place!!!! ThinkBlue (Hit BLUE) 15:14, 26 June 2007 (UTC)
then get a source and put it there, no logic person will remove it if its a perfectly good source —Preceding unsigned comment added by 72.153.52.53 (talk • contribs)
- I agree with you on that!!! Someone should get a source relating to the injury. ThinkBlue (Hit BLUE) 00:51, 28 June 2007 (UTC)
- Its up now!!! ThinkBlue (Hit BLUE) 21:49, 28 June 2007 (UTC)

- No he had that nickname before the "Montreal Screwjob"!!!! P.S. Its "Heartbreak Kid"!!! ThinkBlue (Hit BLUE) 01:46, 20 June 2007 (UTC)
According to the February 2007 issue of WWE Magazine the Heartbreak Kid moniker came by way of Mr. Perfect Curt Hennig. Smobro68 08:21, 21 June 2007 (UTC)
- Correct. Exactly my point!!!! ThinkBlue (Hit BLUE) 00:06, 23 June 2007 (UTC)

Archive
Could someone please archive this page? It's getting very bulky (209.33.68.75 06:52, 29 June 2007 (UTC))
- Done. -- ThinkBlue (Hit BLUE) 01:10, 25 July 2007 (UTC)
No way he's 6ft 1
In the article hes build as 6 ft 1, i myself am 6 ft1 and a few months ago i went to a autograph signing the wwe were doing at a local store, i stood next to him and even took a photograph and i was atleast 1 inch taller then him, id say about 1 and a hlaf inches taller, so if anyone requires proof i could send in the picture i took to show the differences in heights of myself compared to hbk and i could send in another picture of me standing next to a height scale, at most i would say hbk is just about 6ft but probably 5 11. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.135.203.87 (talk • contribs)
many websites claim that he is 6ft1, including wwe.com, and we cant accept one persons claim that he is shorter than that, even if there is a photo. how would we know if you were really 6ft1? how do we know that you werent on an uneven ground when having the photo taken with him? im afraid therest oo many factors involved to make a claim like that, and having it pass as fact. Xchickenx 12:03, 2 July 2007 (UTC)
WWE almost always bills wrestlers' heights and weights more than what they actually are. for example, Kurt Angle's real height is 5'10 but he was billed somewhere around 6'2. J.C. 01:51, 4 July 2007 (UTC)
I agree that WWE bill wrestlers stats to make them seem more impressive, but there really isnt any proof to say that he isnt 6f1. And we cant just add the height that WE think he is when we are only speculating, and there is numerous websites, including wwe.com, that claim he is 6f1. Xchickenx 09:32, 4 July 2007 (UTC)
ok well hows this for proof, in the wrestlemania 19 match, hbk vs y2j, jericho is shown to be clearly taller then hbk, yet jericho is listed as only 6ft 00, so that would mean jericho at 6 ft stands taller then hbk who is listed as 6ft 1
the statistics box on the shawn michaels wikipedia article says: -billed height: 6f1 shawn's height has always been billed as 6ft1. if the statistics box said shawn's real height was 6ft1, and it wasnt, then i would understand your perspective, but its not listed. my point is, the statistics box is correct as his billed height has always been 6f1, but if he isnt 6f1 in real life, that makes no difference to what he is billed as, and thus, makes no difference to the overall article. Xchickenx 03:44, 6 July 2007 (UTC)
Triple H's height is billed as 6'4". In photos I have seen of Shawn standing next to Triple H, Shawn is standing at a height that looks 6'1'. Smobro68 08:29, 18 July 2007 (UTC)
i will also add that when ric flair had his mug shot taken, the person who took it recorded his height as 6f1. when shawn stands next to flair, they look the same height. Xchickenx 10:34, 18 July 2007 (UTC)
No it doesnt, Flair's mug shot just shows his face, you cant see what his height is —Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.145.74.140 (talk • contribs)
but the person taking the photo recorded what his actual height was. which, for the record, is 6f1.Xchickenx 06:21, 31 July 2007 (UTC)
Change Of Reference URL
At one point there was a link to Shawn's section from Obsessed With Wrestling. The owner of that site changed domains, and this is the new URL: http://www.onlineworldofwrestling.com/profiles/s/shawn-michaels.html Smobro68 06:19, 17 July 2007 (UTC)
- Thanks for pointing that out. -- ThinkBlue (Hit BLUE) 15:54, 24 July 2007 (UTC)
hbk is out to knee surgery
its up in the intro 2 the article. but it isnt in the 2007 part of it —Preceding unsigned comment added by 70.156.132.59 (talk • contribs)
- For a reason. -- ThinkBlue (Hit BLUE) 14:53, 26 July 2007
His statistics say he should be obese
You know what i just noticed, if you check the statistics for most wwe stars, i.e. thereweight and height on a body mass index graph it shows them to be obese, michaels BMI states he should be just about obese with these stats —Preceding unsigned comment added by 81.151.151.22 (talk • contribs)
its probably because muscle weighs more than fat. and by the way, that has nothing to do with improving the article.Xchickenx 06:49, 28 July 2007 (UTC)
Addition of Sharpshooter
In Sharpshooter article Michaels is mentioned like an user of the move. So i have added this move to his list. He uses it in many occasions when there is some connection to Montreal Screwjob or when he plays the heel role (like at 2005 Summerslam versus Hulk Hogan). Please don't revert the page.
User:Dave 15:03, 5 August 2007 (ITA)
- Well, he has used it; so I don't see why it should be remove from his moves lists. -- ThinkBlue (Hit BLUE) 17:13, 06 August 2007 (UTC)
Addition of Figure 4 leg lock
Michaels used it in the past against Jericho at Wrestlemania XIX, and recently, last year, against Spirit Squad in a match at Raw with Triple H And Ric Flair User:Dave 23:41, 7 August 2007 (ITA)
- Comment on top. P.S. Do you mean "Addition"? -- ThinkBlue (Hit BLUE) 00:48, 08 August 2007 (UTC)
Yes thanks User:Dave
Returning date
The returning date for when Shawn comes back is unknown. No one knows for sure; so don't add it. Because someone stated saying "Michaels is expected to return at the survivor series in november". There is no proof of this, Wikipedia is not a crystal ball I'm presuming. So do NOT add it; until it is announced. -- ThinkBlue (Hit BLUE) 16:03, 09 August 2007 (UTC)
- Actually, WWE stated in an article with The Wrestling Post that they expect Shawn to recover from surgery in time to make a return at Survivor Series. [1]. But I agree with you, we shouldn't post it on the article until it is officially announced. (Sawyer 05:44, 11 August 2007 (UTC))
HBK's return depends on the healing process with the knee injury. Triple H had knee surgery for a torn quad and he made his return last night. HBK will probably be back between the Survivor Series and the Royal Rumble to re-enegerize the DX angle.
